Hi.
This is my first release on this site and hopefully - not the last. I'm happy to say that Space Drill is now available on PC! I'll briefly explain the differences between the PC and mobile versions and also the reasons for wanting to port it from mobile.

What are the differences?
- Keyboard and mouse controls
- HD resolution
- Stereo music. It never sounded better. You gotta play this on headphones.
- Fixed bug that made it impossible to win while playing on high frame rates
- Dropped ads
- Had to drop leaderboards and achievements too
- Otherwise, it's the classic Space Drill experience

Why make a port?
Space Drill is the first game I ever made and released. It will always have a special place in my heart. However, it was released in 2015 on the Play store and is at risk of being removed, because of changing guidelines and dropping support for older architecture. I didn't want to keep maintaining it, but I didn't want it to be gone forever either. A PC release seemed like a much safer and long term way of preserving the game.

The second reason is wanting to give the game a new breath of life by sharing it with a new community, on a new platform.

The final reason is - well, it's a reason more worthy of a blog post than a release announcement. Maybe soon I'll write one.
